I don’t set my alarm, do I need Keybury cover?

We understand that during lockdown, people are currently following advice to “Stay at home” and may not be setting their alarms to go to work as usual. However we do recommend that the alarm system is set at night for your security, and that you set the alarm whenever you go out for daily exercise. If you’re not sure how to use your alarm on night time setting, one of our engineers can talk you through how to do this over the phone, as telephone support is included with Keybury maintenance cover.

Simply not setting your alarm will not guarantee that it will not develop fault. Should you need us to help with a bleeping keypad or a ringing alarm we will always come out to help. Keybury maintenance cover gives you Priority Same Day Response and use of our 24 hour call out service.

My alarm is working fine, do I need Keybury cover?

We’re really pleased that your alarm is working well. Regularly maintained systems work well. Our routine checks ensure that all the components are functioning as they should and allow us to reduce the risk of any issues. Customers with maintenance cover rarely have their alarm going off in a power cut as our engineer’s regular tests on each service help to avoid this.

If you do experience any problems with your alarm system, Keybury maintenance cover includes the exclusive use of our 24 hour engineer call out service. This is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year (366 this year!).  Keybury maintenance cover also gives you Priority Same Day Response and use of our 24 hour technical telephone support service.

I haven’t had my system serviced yet, what should I do?

Some of our routine service visits had to be postponed, but the good news is that we are now arranging service appointments. Our amazing admin team are busy booking these visits. If you haven’t had yours yet, do get in touch to book in as slots are filing up fast. If you are shielding, we can arrange to carry out the service later in the year. Rest assured we will provide you with the routine maintenance visit during the 12 month period. Our engineers all have PPE for safe working and we are asking our customers to help us to ensure our staff can work safely at your property and maintain 2 metre social distancing at all times.

What is included in Keybury Maintenance Cover?

Keybury maintenance cover includes so much more than a service of your system. All Keybury maintenance customers also receive Priority Same Day call out appointments for break downs, exclusive use of our 24 hour emergency engineer call out service and access to our 24 hour technical telephone support service. Our fantastic team have continued to provide this cover throughout the entire lockdown period.

Can I spread the cost of Keybury Cover?

Yes. Absolutely. You can pay monthly by direct debit and it’s really easy to set up with our online direct debit form.

Alternatively payment for renewal of 12 months’ cover can be made in full by BACs or by card payment over the phone.

How do I get Keybury Cover?

Keybury cover is available even if we didn’t originally install a system. Simply book an engineer visit to give the system an initial check over and once we’ve done that we can set you up with cover. we look forward to welcoming you to the Keybury family.

Which systems can Keybury maintain?

Keybury can maintain your security systems at home and your fire and security systems in commercial premises. We are NSI Gold approved for maintenance of CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Access Control and Fire Alarms, as well as BAFE approved for Fire Alarm maintenance.
