This week’s blog is a day late, and for good reason. It’s the Christmas Special! Today is Keybury’s annual Christmas Breakfast – complete with trophies, coffees and butties. And we’re here with all the news and interviews from the blue carpet.
There was an expectant atmosphere as staff began to arrive and breakfast butties were shared out. HR Director, Karen led the ceremony with speeches from department leads Jon, Matthew and Deborah. Karen’s speech recognised the success of our team in a challenging year, thanking everyone for their part in the team.
Amanda, Gina and Harry received departmental awards, with Gina also scooping People’s choice – again! Although this was a very close race. There was a theme to the awards this year, highlighting the winner’s willingness to learn and flexibility. This has been especially key this year with our new systems, changing standards and team development.
The prestigious employee of the year award, which is voted for by colleagues, was won by Shane. Karen commented that staff from across all departments have voted for Shane.
We’re lucky enough to have a truly excellent team. Every one pulls together and works hard for our customers, and it shows with customers contacting us day in day out to sing the praises of staff across all departments.
