This July our team took part in some FUNdraising for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. We walked, quizzed, cycled and ate (!) our way to raising £500 for the local hospice.
Our team took the opportunity to walk or cycle to work, cycle on our exercise bike and take lunch break walks on Walking Wednesdays. Keybury donated £1 for every mile walked and cycled this way throughout July. This raised a fantastic £124 donation from the business. Even the office dogs got involved, joining us for lunch time team walks at local beaty spots including St Ives and Cliffe Castle.
Thanks to Julie, Deborah and Paul for helping to organise the FUNdraising. Julie hosted a Monday Morning Meet Up, cooking bacon butties for breakfast. They were the perfect way to start the week. Thank you Julie! Paul designed a week long team quiz, with rounds including ‘Music Monday’ and ‘Who-is-it Wednesday’, which had everyone scratching their heads! And Deborah ran a swear jar! Together with cakes in the kitchen, this raised a further £117.20 in donations from team members.
A HUGE thanks to the team for joining in with the fun and giving generously to the cause.
We’ve supported Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice for over a decade with fundraising and event sponsorship. We’ve taken part in some fantastic fun events from cycling the Leeds – Liverpool Canal to eating biscuits, zipping the cow to racing round the office.
This year, Keybury are matching the donations of our team and bringing the total raised for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice to £500.
