Today we’re celebrating our team, who do us proud every day of the week. This morning we held our annual Keybury Christmas Breakfast at our head office in Keighley. Our whole team gathered together over bacon butties to reflect on 2024.
The speeches were led by HR director, Karen, who highlighted the accomplishments of 2024 and thanked the whole team for making this possible with their efforts over the last 12 months.
Team members were recognised from each department. This included Service Engineer of the year, Installation Engineer of the year, and Administrator of the year. In addition colleagues voted for Employee of the year, and we count up customer feedback to award the People’s Choice trophy.
Celebrating Our Team: Award Winners
Toby was presented with the installation of the year award by Install supervisor, Dale, who commented that Toby has a positive approach to his work, particularly when learning new equipment. Sarah was presented with the administrator of the year trophy by business support manager Deborah, who said Sarah helps out whenever she is needed. And Frazer was presented with the service engineer of the year award by Matthew, who said Frazer was “the King” of customer service. We’re sure this won’t go to his head…!
There’s always a long list of people voted for in the employee of the year awards, and this year was no different. Josh and Sue were pipped to the post by this year’s winner; Service Manager, Matthew.
Gina took the people’s choice award, having had an avalanche of praise from customers in 2024! Comments like “a conscientious and tidy worker with a friendly manner” are often said about Gina. Matty and Josh – described as “excellent and knowledgeable”, “efficient and tidy”, “courteous and AMAZING!” – were runners up in this award.
Josh was the bridesmaid of the day, named as runner up more than once! There was recognition for Hifza, Deborah and Matty too. Even MD Frank was in the running for the people’s choice award! He’s so often mentioned by our customers when praising our team.
