The Ilkley Business Awards took place at the Craiglands Hotel in Ilkley on Friday evening. They celebrated the businesses of Ilkley in style.
This year, we supported the awards through sponsorship. Keybury Fire & Security have been a household name in Ilkley since the 1980s; protecting homes and businesses with fire and security systems. So it was no surprise when we sat down to discover we were amongst friends – and customers! Sponsoring the Ilkley Business Awards enables us to support businesses in Wharfedale, and we know first hand the benefits winning an award can bring to an independent local business.
Keybury sponsored the 2024 Retailer Business Awards category. Businesses on the short list were; Moss and Moor, Floral Dance and Burley Interiors. Christine, our communications manager and nominated award presenter was on hand to present the trophy to the winners – Burley Interiors.
The awards followed an update from the Ilkley BID and speeches and presentations from local MP Robbie Moore and committee members. The event was a huge success, with almost 250 people attending to celebrate the businesses of Ilkley. A room full of entrepreneurs, hard working business owners and their teams celebrating the successes of the last 12 months.
