It’s that time of the year again – The Keybury Team-Day! Gathering for our fifth annual Team-Day, we headed out for ‘field training’ using the facilities of our good friends Keighley RUFC.
Here at Keybury we pride ourselves on the first class products and services which we provide to our customers. Throughout the year we combine classroom session with on the job training to develop and improve our skills with the focus always being the best Customer service.
This year working in groups we went head-to-head in team challenges. Throughout the day, the tasks were a great way to recognise the different skills of each member of the team, mirroring our own company day to day set up.
These tasks ranged from solving puzzles, to collectively slalom ‘skiing’ through the field on a wooden ski and foam block building while being blindfolded. Throughout communication was the crucial element, proving the importance of this in order to create a winning team. Understanding each team member’s role within the group allowed quick thinking to enable successful results. This was highlighted with the final challenge – building a standalone, fully working catapult. The whole team were able to get involved and see how their contribution worked towards the end result.
