At the beginning of July, Keybury will undertake their biggest charity challenge to date as they attempt their own 3 day triathlon!

This will be Keybury’s third annual charity fundraiser. Last year employees completed a combined distance trek of 500 miles and in 2013 completed a 127 mile bike ride along the length of the Leeds – Liverpool Canal towpath.

The countdown is on with just 6 weeks until the event.  Staff from across the departments are coming together to take part in this years challenge which comprises of:tryathlon poster crop

– A cycle along the canal from Keighley – Leeds and back. (40 miles)

– A walk up the highest peak in Yorkshire, Whernside, one of the 3 peaks. (8 miles)

– Swim, a combined distance of the width of the Channel. (21 miles as a team effort)

All funds raised this year will be divided evenly between Manorlands Sue Ryder Hospice and the Alzheimer Society.

We are hoping to break our fundraising record and raise over £2500 for these great charities.
