This weekend’s local business awards ceremony was a huge success – and we were proud to be a part of it. Friday saw the coveted Keighley and Airedale Business Awards take place at Victoria Hall in Keighley. Local business teams from across the district gathered to celebrate the achievements across all sectors.
Keybury Fire and Security won SME Business of The Year Award at these local business awards in 2022, so this year we decided to pay it forward with sponsorship. Not only would we still get a chance to attend and celebrate local businesses, we’d be giving other businesses and opportunity to shine.

It was wonderful to see so many businesses including newly launched enterprises alongside household names. And we were particularly proud, when looking around the room, to recognise a huge number of our own customers. We’ve always been proud to support local businesses and to provide fire and security systems to keep businesses safe and secure.
I was lucky enough to attend the awards ceremony alongside our Director, Karen Gee, and present the Professional Services Award to Aireworth Vets on behalf of Keybury Fire and Security. Other winners included ViDrate, who were runners up in the SME category at Keighley and Airedale Business Awards last year, fellow family business Gallagher Family Funeral Services and Three Little Birds Bakery who have supplied our team with a cake or two over the years! Congratulations to all the winners and finalists, and to the organisers who put so much time and effort into making this event a success.
