Each year we celebrate the achievements of the whole team and award prizes. Team Keybury have celebrated 40 years in business this year. To mark this, team members received pin badges in recognition of their service. Even the Managing Directors were surprised with special 40 Years badges!

This was our first year altogether since 2019. The awards have been announced virtually in 2020 and 2021. It meant the return of breakfast butties! Secret Santa gifts were exchanged and everyone had a chance to catch up. It’s always a jolly occasion and fantastic to get the team together.

As usual, we awarded the annual admin and engineer of the year prizes as well as the people’s choice and employee of the year. It’s always tough to choose as the whole team really do deserve recognition for their hard work. Luckily it’s not down to one person to pick the winners. Some of the awards are put to colleague votes and others are based on customer feedback.

Team Keybury Awards

Each year Team Keybury Awards five trophies. There are three departmental trophies for the installation department, service department and admin department. Each team manager nominates a team member for the prize. This year, our winners were Toby, Georgia and Mick. Toby graduated from trainee to engineer and is a fantastic member of our installation team. Georgia has been part of the admin team for around a decade and was nominated for her consistently hard work and positive approach. Mick’s flexibility and total team approach earned him his nomination from the service team.

There are two other, hotly contesded trophies. The first is the employee of the year. This is voted for by colleagues – so when the vote comes out we all start offering to make each other cuppas and cover each other’s call out! This year, a long long list of colleagues received votes but the runners up were Mortimer and Sue, and the winner was Sarah. The final trophy is the “People’s Choice” award. Again this was very close. 2022 saw the most positive feedback we’ve ever had over 40 years! Mick and Sarah were runners up but it was Adam who took the trophy!

Our Celebratory breakfast was completed by a raffle draw and breakfast butties for the team.

Thanks to every member of Team Keybury for your hard work in 2022. We’re very proud of our team. Here’s to 2023!
