Keybury have been in business for almost 38 years. We have been NSI Gold approved since 1987. It’s one of our long standing traditions to celebrate the end of the year with a Christmas Breakfast. 2019 has been another bumper year.
The Christmas Breakfast includes speeches, awards, butties and our secret-santa present exchange.
Each year awards are given to team members for Service engineer, Install engineer and Administrator of the year. These are chosen by directors based on performance over the year.
Service Engineer of the year was awarded to Fraser. He’s been part of our team since 2016 and this is the 2nd time he’s won this award. It was a tough choice this year with high standard of work throughout the department but Frank explained that Fraser was chosen based on supervisory inspection results, attendance and “his consistent really good attitude.”
Installation Engineer of the year was awarded to Olli, one of our senior engineers. He’s been a part of our team for almost five years. Again this was a tough choice with everyone working really well. Frank said that Olli was chosen “based on supervisory inspection results and working on large contracts and bringing them in on time.” Olli often runs our larger installations, joins in with our team events and even volunteered to be in our installation video this year. Administrator of the year was awarded to Beverley who joined the team in 2017 as Sales Ledger Clerk. Another team member always ready to help her colleagues, Frank explained that Beverley was chosen for her “conscientious and accurate work”.
Employee of the year
The fourth award is the Employee of the year. This one is voted for by the whole team. 21 people got votes, with Julie coming in 3rd place and Matt (from service) in 2nd. This year’s winner was Sue, who’s been a part of team Keybury for over a decade having joined us in 2008. Sue is always ready to do a bit extra to help out a colleague. You’ll find her at every charity event either taking part or cheering on the team. Sue also organises secret santa and she sorted the butties for the breakfast. It’s no wonder she received so many votes!
We introduced two brand new awards for 2019:
The Customer Service Award was given to Matt (install) who’s been part of the team since 2018. This year we have received almost 100 positive customer reviews and every engineer has been highlighted. Anyone who follows Keybury’s social media will have read the many customer comments singing Matt’s praises. Well done Matt!
Our office manager Julie was given the O.B.E – Over & Beyond Expectations. Julie has been a member of the Keybury team since 2006. She has been flexible for the benefit of everyone else in the Keybury team, with excellent performance and commitment in her role. Julie has played an important role in Keybury continuing to attain very high grades during our NSI visits this year.
We’re really proud of our team who work hard to provide an excellent service for our customers.
